The new identity and a reimagined digital experience were crafted to drive the company’s exponential growth even further.

The Brief

With millions of users worldwide every month, FRVR are creators of some of the most enjoyed hyper-casual free games across the globe. On a mission to make games accessible to everyone from any platform, the Lisbon-based game developer is a success story who gained support from major household names in tech and social media. A game-changing rebrand for FRVR.The new identity and a reimagined digital experience were crafted to drive the company’s exponential growth even further.

The Work

The new logo retains the main concept of infinite entertainment which was the at the core of the old brand mark. Apart from improving legibility in extremely small spaces, the simplification applied on the new mark is a direct reflection of the simplicity adopted by the organisation when developing new tech. The original colour palette was also narrowed down to 5 colours which were also tweaked to enhance their performance on a digital landscape. The low-poly effect is making way for a more distinctive diagonal colour segmentation which creates a sense of motion and dynamism even when presented in static format.

The results

Multi-Coloured Fun

A new 5-colour sequence presents the brand in a modern, fun and dynamic way while retaining the recognisability built by FRVR within the hyper-casual gaming community.

Disruption in four words

To communicate the change FRVR is bringing to the market, the strategy team devised a custom brand framework and purpose statement – Changing the game, Forever – built around the concepts of disruption, simplicity, curiosity and purpose.

An immersive digital experience

To allow for maximum scalability and accommodate for an always growing number of FRVR games and daily visitors, our UX, UI and web development team redesigned the website’s user experience from the ground up and developed it with a focus on usability and performance. With the introduction of game filters and categories, the website is easier to browse and encourages users to discover new titles. Hyper-casual games are often enjoyed on the go, so mobile experience was an integral part of the web design and development process.

The corporate side of FRVR

A fast-growing company like FRVR also needed a sleek, yet playful corporate website. This site is powered by a WordPress CMS to enable dynamic content. Built with investors, partners and prospective employees in mind, the new website is the best place to get to know more about FRVR and the waves it’s making in the global gaming industry.
