For Kinnie’s 2026 Campaign, we created a vibrant, product-led campaign that brought the Drink Different mindset to life through energetic lifestyle moments and real-world scenes inspired by Maltese culture.
The Brief
Create a campaign that showcases Kinnie’s Drink Different mindset and the bold attitude of the Kinnie tribe. Tap into current trends and reinforce Kinnie as the drink to enjoy with friends, at parties, and paired with amazing food.
The Work
Kinnie has always done things differently. From its unmistakable flavour to its deep roots in Maltese culture, Kinnie is unapologetically unique. For this campaign, we set out to reinforce that identity while bringing the Drink Different mindset to life through the people, places and moments that embody it best.
Research showed that our audience was leaning towards nostalgia-based marketing. At the same time, Bad Bunny’s 2026 Super Bowl performance had his song, Tití Me Preguntó, trending everywhere, and the song’s grocery store-set music video immediately grabbed our attention – reminding us of Malta’s own unmistakable corner stores. Tiny shops with shelves stacked to the ceiling, humming fans overhead, and every inch packed with colour, community and endless opportunities for bold visuals and textured shots.
It was the perfect setting.
From the cute French bulldog to the classic store owner to the group of friends getting ready for a night in with drinks, dancing, games and snacks. We stocked our video with bold energy, social moments, and unmistakable Maltese culture – turning an everyday grocery run into a full-on Kinnie Drink Different experience.
To drive our message home, static visuals placed Kinnie front and centre, celebrating the can, the serve and the mood around it. With every touchpoint designed to spotlight the same idea: Kinnie is more than a drink. It’s a mindset.
