Our challenge was to design an identity that would stand out in the market whilst also demonstrating professionalism, inspiring trust and communicating company values.

The Brief

Our goal was to create a visual and strategic brand that embodies the team’s expertise and values, whilst helping them resonate with both businesses in transition and the key decision-makers they serve.

The Work

Hatten M&A Advisory is a new firm specialising in mergers and acquisitions. However, their work goes beyond numbers and business transactions; for their clients it’s personal, emotional, and often life-changing. That’s why they prioritise the humans at the heart of every business transaction, focusing on factors like psychology, cultural fit, effective communication and more to connect the right clients with the right businesses and expertly manage the transition process. To visually represent this core value, we crafted a distinctive brand mark that subtly incorporates an ‘easter egg’: the letter ‘H’ from ‘Hatten’ forms the shape of a bridge, symbolising the firm’s essential role in bridging the gap between clients and their strategic business objectives.

To further elevate the brand’s identity, we customised the typography, refining key elements such as the width, angle, and shape of specific letters and their crossbars, enhancing the brand's sleek and modern aesthetic. We then complemented this contemporary typeface with a timeless symbol of trust and security, a shield. Using this as the brand mark to represent the institutional strength and expertise that underpin Hatten M&A Advisory services.

Finally, we brought the brand to life by applying the refreshed identity across a variety of applications, including letterheads, business cards, and a company website, enabling our client to visualise and experience the strength of their new brand in action.
