A summer campaign celebrating Cisk as Malta’s freshest beer, combining sensory storytelling and product-led visuals with the tagline “Cisk Frisk – Brewed Locally, Enjoyed Fresh”.

It’s summer again, and that means a bold new campaign for Malta’s favourite beer. This year, we wanted to do more than just celebrate the sunshine. We set out to own a message no one else could: that Cisk is the freshest beer on the island. With the tagline “Cisk Frisk – Brewed Locally, Enjoyed Fresh”, the campaign aimed to communicate the unbeatable refreshment that only a cold, local Cisk can deliver. The brief called for a multi-channel approach that included a TV video ad, social media content and OOH visuals, all infused with Cisk’s vibrant, sociable personality.

We set out to make Cisk the undisputed hero of summer. Drawing inspiration from our senses - sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch - we created a campaign that embodied the pure refreshment of a freshly poured pint.

The centrepiece was a cinematic TV ad designed to transport viewers through a multi-sensory journey of what fresh really feels like. We open on a chilled pint being lifted from the table. The glass hits the lips and we’re whisked into a montage of summer’s most refreshing moments: slipping into cool sheets, aloe vera on warm skin, sea water rushing over bare feet, the breeze through an open window, and that first crisp bite of a summer salad. Each scene reflects the physical and emotional sensation of enjoying a cold Cisk with friends. The video ends with the now-empty glass being set back down, bringing us full circle and reinforcing the story we’ve just experienced in one perfect sip.

To keep things cohesive across touchpoints, we echoed this sensory storytelling in our static visuals. Our out-of-home campaign focused on the irresistible product appeal of Cisk. Each billboard and bus shelter featured a perfectly poured pint in close-up; frothy head, condensation dripping, crisp clarity. Designed to stop people in their tracks, each visual invited passers-by to reach out and take a sip.

Whether in motion or in print, the message was clear and consistent: Cisk is brewed locally, enjoyed fresh. Cisk Frisk.
