The brief was vast – build a brand that highlights a restaurant dedicated to serving the tastiest, genuine food produced using the freshest of ingredients, in a welcoming and entertaining atmosphere.
In a new age of a health-conscious generation, U Bistrot’s food – packed with natural, succulent goodness – was a first for St Julian’s, Malta. We turned this concept into a brand that was about giving the client genuine food. ‘U’ is all about ‘you’.
‘U’ coupled with ‘bistrot’ – spelt the good old authentic way – made perfect sense. The name allowed the opportunity for further growth, of franchising products. We made sure the logo reflected the naturalness it was all about and which we spelt out in the tag line – ‘Naturally delicious grub’. Today the U Bistrot brand has become a household name on the culinary high street.
